Scholarships honour spirit of Michael Mutcheson

Jenna Dow and Jordan Neduzak are the recipients of $3,000 scholarships from the Michael Mutcheson Memorial Foundation. Over $145,000 has been awarded to graduates since the program began, and parents Jim & Sylvia Mutcheson met with Dow and Neduzak.

Each year, the Michael Mutcheson Memorial Foundation awards scholarships to students in Morden Milton, Ont.
The awards are granted in the spirit of Michael Mutcheson to graduates who demonstrate a strong sense of community, who excel in the pursuit of sports and are upstanding role models for today's youth.
They must value a sense of humour, demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for life.
Jenna Dow and Jordan Neduzak are the 2010 recipients of $3,000 scholarships from the Michael Mutcheson Memorial Foundation.
Over $145,000 has been awarded to Morden and Milton schools since the program began.
Trust donations
The Michael Mutcheson Memorial Trust also seeks out charitable organizations that relate to children's charities and assists them in their efforts.
The trust foundation has made charitable donations to the following organizations:
• 2009 - $60,000 to Special Olympics
• 2008 - $50,000 to Boundary Trails Health Centre.
• 2007 - $60,000 to Montreal Children's Hospital.
• 2006 - $40,000 to Langley Children's Society.
• 2005 - $40,000 to Bloorview McMillan Children's Foundation
• 2004 - $40,000 to Variety Village
• 2003 - $22,500 was presented to Milton District Hospital.
