Artspace: Local artist earns honours

Diana Perrson of Morden received two honourable mentions for her watercolour paintings titled: Celebration & Purity at the opening reception at the Manitoba Society of Artists 78th annual open juried show and exhibition.

Diana Perrson of Morden received two honourable mentions for her watercolour paintings titled: " Celebration" & "Purity" at the opening reception at the Manitoba Society of Artists 78th annual open juried show and exhibition.

Perrson received her award from outgoing MP and Winnipeg mayoral candidate Judy Wasylycia-Leis and MSA president Bonnie Taylor.

There were approximately 250 entries for this show and 124 were selected by the jurors. The MSA founded in 1902 is the province's oldest professional body for painters, sculptors and other visual artists.
